Modernization
Device manufacturers occasionally release product updates that are incompatible with previous versions. In such cases, using the new version requires system modifications to ensure the application functions correctly. Drawing on our experience, we help clients make the right choices when sourcing components and assist in integrating new component versions into existing systems.
User interfaces
The lifecycle of a user interface is often shorter than that of the rest of the control system. We stock several interface panels that are no longer in production; depending on the panel type and maintainability, upgrading the panel may be an option.
Typical interface upgrades include:

Coros OP -> Siemens KTP
Siemens OP, MP, and TP -> Siemens KPT
MAC x Panels -> Beijers E
Proface GP -> Proface AGP
To migrate the interface to a new panel type or a completely different product, we require the original application program. If the program is unavailable, we can upload it from the existing panel, provided the interface is still functional.
On a case-by-case basis, we may offer a credit for the old display if it becomes redundant following the interface modernization.
PLC Controls
New control systems are more efficient and versatile due to their interfaces and performance.
When planning a control system upgrade, however, it is worth considering which functions of the old system have operated flawlessly and how these components can be migrated to the new system. Drawing on our expertise, we can assess the situation and offer recommendations on the best way to implement the system upgrade.
